Commercial Display and Retailing
Demonstration of retailers/distributors service at stores at “Retail Tech Japan” event, one of Japan’s biggest distribution industry event. Tapia offered customer service to visitors standing who would stand in front of Tapia or interacted with the display monitors next to it. Tapia is a direct incentive for customers to visit the retailers.
Points in development
• Make it possible to have a natural conversation with customers while also having them interact with Tapia, instead of one-way traffic.
• Have the “Touchscreen” and “Tapia’s face recognition system” customizable.
• Have an easy way to change sentences Tapia uses to communicate on using a smartphone or a tablet.
• Make it possible to enable fingerprint authentication for purchases to easily manage conversations and customer service.
